Introduction (New Myths)
Everyone knows the
story of how it took 7 days to make the Earth,
But what they all
forgot
Is the war prior
to
The war, before
the creation of man,
The war over the
blueprints of mankind
This war was full
of emotions and controversies.
After the war was
over and done,
Forgotten and dismissed,
All those emotions
were left aside,
Such strong sentiments
assembled in two small heaps,
Thus the twins,
Empathy and Apathy
came to exists,
Feelings from this
warfare matured,
Crafting two other
beings,
Hatred and Forgiving,
Hatred crossed paths
one day with that of Apathy’s,
They grew fond of
each other,
Resulting in a marriage,
Where then Empathy
met Forgiving,
Resulting in a marriage
of their own.
These are the chronicles,
memoirs’, journals,
Of them as well
as their beloved children.
Beloved Diary,
Hello, I am mighty and powerful Apathy, twin of Empathy, mother of 13, and wife of the equally mighty and powerful
Hatred. Ah, the chronicles I wish to pass; but we must settle on one for the day. The legend shall be that of Hope. Hope,
as her name perceives her, wanders the plains of the earth, lost, confused, and in a daze; but never stops saying how she’ll
get there one day. Day after day, looking to find her way. But see, everything on this earth is not the way it is, for someone
has touched it and has modified it. Thus, Hope was not once as her name, Hope at one time did not exist. Where to start, where
to start…Ah, we’ll start with my child, Fear and two of my brothers, Bless, Giving, and his wife Forgiving. The
child that given his name is Confused is the child of my husband, Hatred and that of Forgiving. Confused was wandering along
a path with Fear, when Forgiving, Giving and Bless crossed through their path. Fear, being just as adolescent as Confused
didn’t understand that I was not the mother of Confused and yet Confused was still his brother. Forgiving had embraced
her son, and planned to take her to her home that evening. Nevertheless, Fear did not understand this, how could she take
his brother? Thus they quarreled, Forgiving tried and tried to explain to Fear that she was his mother; but Fear couldn’t
understand. A conflict broke out when Fear directed a spell on Forgiving accidentally out of his panic. Now, Bless and Giving
fought along side their mother, Confused fought along side fear trying to enlighten Fear that Forgiving was indeed his mother.
Bless, Giving, Forgiving, Confused and Fear all radiated a spell simultaneously, which all hit a small blossom on the ground.
The combination of their magic, had brought the flower to existence, and there, in front of them stood this beautiful young
woman. She wore a splendid dress of blue petals with a few white petals here and there, her face resembled that of an angel’s,
and her hair was silky and chestnut brown as well as her eyes. Seeing such a gorgeous sight, they all forgot their fight and
stood there watching her, Forgiving was the first to try to communicate with Hope, she tried to explain to Hope that she was
the result of their magic and emotions at the time. Hope found this rather hard to believe, and then Forgiving supposed that
she would understand if she wanted to be a flower again. Forgiving saying such a thing made Hope think, then Hope replied
no, that her creation didn’t mean that she wasn’t suppose to be here, that there is a place, somewhere that required
her presences. Then she stood up and said that she was off to locate that place, and she bid them farewell. From that day
on, Hope had gone to town to town, where she thought she was needed, ten once she was required no more, she left. However,
now that she has visited every town there is to visit, there was no place for Hope. With nowhere to go, nor any need for her,
Hope sought return to being, that, of a Bloom. But, see where we live is so difficult to come across; if we left, we ourselves
could not find our way home easily. Thus, Hope roams the earth, hoping to return to the pathway where she was fashioned. That
would be the ending of today’s lesson. Till the next tale,
-Apathy
